I was a huge fan of Michael Jackson's music....that is, before he became all weird! He was one of the biggest music/dance icons from my generation.
So, my Aloha Friday question is....
What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?
Mine would have to be "Thriller"....the video was killer! Ha! That rhymed!

I am a little young for the Michael Jackson "Thriller" era... I do know that songs.. but I was mostly around for the weirdness.
All I can say is its a shame that he went now.. at this point in his career.
I was a kid but my older sister played his songs and I loved them. He was cool until he became ... strange. my favorite songs are "Thriller, Billy jean, the girl is mine, Beat it, I think that's all."

That's tough. I was never HUGE fan of his like some, but he was uber popular when I was in 6th grade :D
Thriller was amazing, really for that time, the video was groundbreaking. I also really like Smooth Criminal. But my favorites are probably the Jackson 5 stuff...ABC...love it :D

It's an odd feeling, an icon that I grew up with, gone. Especially considering I made fun of my much older sister all these years as her adolescent icons croaked over...
My favorite of MJ's, of course during his pre-identity crisis days, would be Dirty Diana. And Beat It. And Thriller. And hell... I like all of the old stuff lol.
I also liked Thriller, though I wasn't around for his big time days. Although, I guess he is still big time..

I must admit that I actually attended a Michael Jackson concert in high school. I don't think you can you grow up in the 80's and not have been immersed in the Michael Jackson experience. Don't know if I have a favorite song at this point. Maybe Billy Jean or Beat it. But Thriller is always a goodie. Sure wish the weirdness hadn't come and we could just have those memories from the 80's.

probably thriller. i remember when it debuted. i spent the night at a friends house and we made nachos and stuff and were on the edge of our seats. it was really something back then!

Hi! Stopping by from SITS! Michael Jackson had a huge influence on me. I was a dancer/choreographer in my youth. My favorite song is Say Say Say, the duet with Paul McCartney. But really, I loved just about every song he put out!
Billie Jean was my favorite. You are certainly dead on regarding him becoming all weird. Sad life.
"Rock with Me" and "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough." I'm an Off the Wall fan rather than a Thriller fan.
